Case 316
assignedReport English
Bone bruise areas in the dorsolateral femoral condyle and more pronounced in the anterolateral tibial plateau, differential diagnosis contusional. Another small bone bruise area in the medial femoral condyle (4/19). Otherwise, the signal of the remaining osseous structures is unremarkable in the present sequences. No high-grade chondropathy. Medial and lateral meniscus show no evidence of a tear. ACL intact. Complete rupture of the PCL (exemplary 5/15). LCL intact. Proximal, complete rupture of the MCL just distal to the femoral insertion with accompanying capsular rupture. Significant hemarthrosis. Quadriceps and patellar tendons with intact signal. Significant differential diagnosis of diffuse subcutaneous hemorrhages surrounding the knee joint, more pronounced laterally. Bone bruise areas in the dorsolateral femoral condyle and more pronounced in the anterolateral tibial plateau, differential diagnosis contusional. Another small bone bruise area in the medial femoral condyle. PCL rupture. Proximal, complete rupture of the MCL just distal to the femoral insertion with accompanying capsular rupture. Significant hemarthrosis. No evidence of further lesions of the intra-articular knee structures. Significant differential diagnosis of diffuse subcutaneous hemorrhages surrounding the knee joint, more pronounced laterally.
