assigned

Report English

Medial Compartment: Normal bone marrow signal. Intact cartilage. Early mucoid degeneration of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus. Intact MCL. Lateral Compartment: Normal bone marrow signal. Intact cartilage. Radial tear of the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus with longitudinal extension into the pars intermedia (Series 4/ Image 88, Series 7/ Image 22). Intact LCL. Femoropatellar Joint and Trochlea: Significantly thinned cartilage on the medial patellar facet in the middle third with small subchondral cysts (Series 8/ Image 19). Focal full-thickness cartilage defect with adjacent subchondral debris cyst in the inferior part of the lateral patellar facet (Series 8/ Image 13). Otherwise, normal bone marrow signal. Normal appearance of the quadriceps and patellar tendons. Normal appearance of Hoffa's fat pad. Cruciate Ligaments: Multiple cysts at the tibial insertion of the ACL. Intact cruciate ligaments. Musculature and Other Soft Tissues: No joint effusion. Advanced chondropathy of the medial and lateral patellar facets with focal full-thickness cartilage defect medially and deep defect laterally, each with evidence of small subchondral cysts. - Otherwise, no high-grade chondropathy. - Complex tear of the lateral meniscus with a radial component in the anterior horn and subsequent longitudinal tear formation in the pars intermedia. - Intact medial meniscus. - Intact ligament structures. - No joint effusion.
