Case 116
assignedReport English
Received articulation in the right knee joint. Cortical impressions/irregularities and focal subcortical edema and small cystic changes of the lateral patellar facet and the patellar ridge (see e.g., 3/42) in the middle third of the patella. Otherwise, normal bone marrow signal. Patella centered in position. Evidence of a focal chondral delamination with a cartilage defect of approximately ml 15 x ap 4 x cc 13 mm. At the current time, no dislocation of cartilage fragments, no loose bodies in the joint. Otherwise, normal appearance of the remaining cartilage covering in the right knee joint. Normal appearance of the menisci and cruciate ligaments. Collateral ligament apparatus intact. Accentuated joint fluid, also in Baker's position. Normal appearance of the surrounding musculature and subcutis. Circumscribed osteochondral lesion of the lateral patellar facet and ridge with focal chondral delamination over approximately m.l. 15 x a.p. 4 x c.c. 13 mm with adjacent cortical impressions/irregularities and focal subcortical edema and small cystic changes in the middle third of the patella.
