Case 082

assigned

Report English

Patella slightly laterally positioned while standing with a shallow trochlea. Otherwise, normal alignment of the left knee joint. Slight superficial chondropathy at the patellar crest at the transition to the lateral patellar facet (7/12). Otherwise, unremarkable cartilage covering in the femoropatellar area. Medially in the femorotibial area, slightly reduced cartilage covering towards the edge, but otherwise good cartilage covering. The medial meniscus is intact. On the lateral side of the tibial plateau, there is a fissural focal deep cartilage defect (5/21) with otherwise preserved cartilage covering. Suspected horizontal tear in the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus (4/14 or 5/22). Otherwise, unremarkable appearance of the lateral meniscus. Cruciate ligaments are intact. Collateral ligaments are also intact. Slightly accentuated joint fluid without significant joint effusion. Synovium is slender. Baker's cyst. Small synovial protrusions dorsal to the knee joint space (e.g., 1010/68). Slight fluid accumulation around the popliteus tendon (3/102). Unremarkable appearance of the surrounding musculature and subcutis. Slight superficial chondropathy at the patellar crest at the transition to the lateral patellar facet (7/12). On the lateral tibial plateau, a fissural focal deep cartilage defect (5/21) with otherwise preserved femorotibial cartilage covering. - Suspected horizontal tear in the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus (4/14 or 5/22). Otherwise, unremarkable appearance of the menisci. - Slightly accentuated joint fluid without significant joint effusion. Synovium is slender. Baker's cyst. Small synovial protrusions dorsal to the knee joint space (e.g., 1010/68). Slight fluid accumulation around the popliteus tendon (3/102).
